Infant Care
The Infant Care program welcomes little ones from six weeks
to “first steps”. Recognizing that it is often difficult for parents to return to work six weeks after the birth
of their child, our nurturing staff makes the transition as smooth as possible by communicating and recording details of the
child’s day. Parents are welcome at any time, and a comfortable area is available for breastfeeding. Infants are provided
a safe, loving environment that balances quiet, restful time with appropriately stimulating activities that engage all the
senses. We improve upon the state required ratio of one caregiver to every four infants by providing an additional aide and/or
volunteer. Thus, three competent caregivers to every eight infants make the Infant Care program a wonderful place to grow.

Toddler Care
When an infant
takes three unassisted steps, s/he begins the transition to the Toddler Room. In the Toddler Room, three highly qualified
caregivers engage ten toddlers in a wide variety of activities including blocks, chunky books, stacking cups, stories, climbing,
painting, singing and dancing. The warm, gentle care provided by the staff keeps the children clean, safe, stimulated and
learning.

TWO-YEAR-OLD CARE
Being two is an exciting time when language and self-awareness blossom. Mobility vastly
improves. Curiosity compels the children to investigate spatial concepts as well as fine motor skills. Two-year-olds also begin to develop meaningful friendships. In our Two-Year-Old Room, fifteen children
are guided and nurtured by three qualified caregivers. Each day is filled with crafts, stories, circle time, small and large
muscle activities and opportunities to develop social skills. Special low-to-the-ground toilets and hand washing make the
challenges of self-care more manageable and foster independence.
