Our Programs - Kindergarten & Pre-K

At age five, the child moves up to the Pre-K/Kindergarten classroom.

Our two-year Pre-K / Kindergarten programs use a curriculum consistent with the Indiana State standards for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten programs. The ultimate goal of the programs is to expand the child’s understanding of themselves and the world in which they live.

The theme-based curriculum exposes the 24 children in the class to concepts of physical science, seasons, literacy, cultural diversity, numbers, the community and more.

  • The five-year-olds (Pre-K programs) are exposed to the material, along with the opportunities to work with projects related to the weekly theme.
  • The six-year-olds (Kindergarten programs) work with the same materials as their younger classmates, but are guided to master the skills expected of children as they enter first grade. In addition, our program emphasizes personal and social skill development so that children are competent and confident as they move into the elementary school setting.

Our All-Day-Kindergarten program is enriching for the children and very helpful to working parents. All-Day-Kindergarten allows parents to focus on their work while at work, knowing that their kids are learning all they should in kindergarten.
